About

Behind HOP

HOP is a gallery with a room for everything you collect. It turns a private library of pictures — art, photographs, objects, the things that matter — into something closer to a real exhibition. Rooms hold walls; walls hold pieces.

It is not a feed, not a portfolio mill, not another place to post. A collection is a place the collector returns to, and HOP is built to be that place — considered, quiet, and yours.

Everything you keep gets a record: an accession number, a content fingerprint, and the date it entered your register. Not because every picture is a masterpiece, but because keeping something is a decision worth writing down.

HOP is made in New York by the team at heftgallery.com.

The longer argument — on the small private museum you can build — is in the essay. Read it.
